At GABINEL, we aim to provide clear and transparent return and refund conditions. This policy explains our 30-day commercial return policy, exchanges, refunds, damaged or incorrect orders, and applicable statutory consumer rights.

GABINEL offers a 30-day commercial return period.

You may request a return within 30 days from the date you receive your order.

Products should be returned in a condition that allows us to verify and process the return. Where reasonably possible, please include the original packaging and any accessories or components supplied with the product.

Reasonable handling necessary to inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of a product does not affect your statutory rights.

Our 30-day commercial return policy is provided in addition to applicable statutory consumer rights and does not replace or restrict them.

2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies to a distance purchase, consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt of the goods to notify us of their decision to withdraw from the purchase without having to provide a reason.

To exercise this right, you must send us a clear statement of your decision before the applicable withdrawal period expires.

3. How to Request a Return

5. Return Shipping Costs

For returns accepted under our 30-day commercial return policy, GABINEL bears the standard return shipping cost.

Please follow the return instructions provided by us before sending your parcel.

Additional costs arising from an unauthorized premium, express or alternative return service may not be reimbursed unless agreed with us in advance.

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted.

Please contact support@gabinel.shop before returning a product for exchange.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will discuss the available alternatives or refund options with you.

7. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If a product arrives damaged, incorrect, defective or an item is missing from your order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

Please include your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the issue.

Where GABINEL is responsible for the issue, GABINEL bears the necessary return or replacement shipping costs.

Mandatory statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming products remain unaffected.

8. Refunds

Once an eligible returned product has been received and inspected, we aim to process the approved refund within 3 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Your payment provider or card issuer may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in your account.

The 3-business-day timeframe is our commercial processing target and does not restrict statutory refund rights.

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, reimbursement will be handled within the time limits and under the conditions required by applicable French consumer law.

9. Original Delivery Costs

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, reimbursement of eligible standard outbound delivery costs will be handled in accordance with applicable statutory requirements.

Additional delivery costs resulting from a customer choosing a delivery method more expensive than the standard delivery method offered by us may be treated in accordance with applicable law.

For returns made solely under our additional commercial return policy after the statutory withdrawal period, treatment of the original delivery charge may depend on the circumstances of the return.

10. Legal Guarantees

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory statutory guarantees available to consumers, including the French legal guarantee of conformity where applicable.

Our 30-day commercial return period is separate from statutory guarantees and does not shorten their duration.
